Recommended 5th Wheel To Gooseneck Adapter To Tow Trailer W/ B&W Turnoverball In 2016 Ram 2500

I would be happy to help!
Since your 2016 Ram 2500 has the 6-1/2' bed you will want to go with the Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter w/8" Offset # AM3139. This will bolt over the king pin of your 2000 Sportman 5th wheel trailer and give you the most cab to trailer clearance. You will need to use the slide hammer # AM3103 to get this installed. Keep in mind that this adapter can only be installed on a standard pin box, and cannot be used on one that is air ride or cushioned.
With this adapter installed you still may not be able to make a full 90 degree turn, so I recommend taking the truck and trailer to an empty parking lot with a friend to look at the clearance so you get comfortable with the capabilities of your truck.
In addition you may also need to add a 7-way connector to the bed of your truck using # C56070 so you can connect your trailer.
