Can the Solera 18V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit Be Installed Slightly Left/Right of Old Arms
Question:
I have a Dometic 900 manual 17foot awning on my 2012 Bay Star MH. The right arm, facing the awning, is within an inch of the trim of the passenger front side window. Will the new Solera power arm be in the same location or possibly to the left?

In regards to the Solera 18V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit part # LC434730, you should have no problem moving both arms down a bit for clearance in either direction. The awning rail is usually oversized so there should be room for adjustments here. This may or may not leave mounting holes exposed from the old arms but they can be filled with some silicone and would not cause any issues.
