What Hitch and Rack Do You Recommend for a BMW M35 Coupe for 2 Beach Cruisers?

Hi, I looking to purchase a Curt hitch for my BMW M235 coupe and need to decide on a bike rack. I’d like one that is easy to take on and off and can hold 2 beach cruisers. I’m only 5’1” so not a big strong person, but need something stable as will be driving on freeways. Thank you.

I have an answer for you. Unfortunately, I confirmed with Curt that they do not currently make a hitch that is customized to fit your 2016 BMW M235 coupe. However, for a hitch receiver for your 2016 BMW M235, the only option we carry that will fit your vehicle is the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # SH54VR. The Stealth hitch is great because it has a hidden design that gives your vehicle a factory look with the hitch installed. It also provides 350 pounds of tongue weight.

For a bike rack that is easy to take on and off your vehicle, I recommend a platform hitch rack like the Curt 2 Bike Platform Rack # C18085. Since the Curt 2 is a platform rack, you will not need to lift the bike high off the ground like you would for a hanging-style rack design. In addition, the cushioned ratcheting hooks firmly grip your bikes by the top tubes so that they will be secure while driving on the freeway.
