Tow Bar Lighting Solution for 2019 Ford Ranger that Doesn't Require Brake Light Relay

Question:

Im looking for suggestions to connect a RV with a combined tail light system to a 2019 Ford Ranger Lariat with a keyless ignition and it has the 3 wire taillight system that includes the BLIS system. I really dont want to use a brake light relay as it may interfere with any required future troubleshooting with the brake pedal switch. I have the HY-Power diodes kit at hand but then thinking the Hopkins universal diode kit would be a better option, so I have that as well and planned on wiring it to the tail light circuit, the amber turn lights and the brake lights would be applied by the Air Force One system brake pedal application equaling a 3 wire system. But now Im reading about 2 to 3 wire converters and would that be the better option. After watching many of the etrailer videos I think a point they are trying to get across is the possible confusion with a combined system RV attached to a 3 wire TOAD.

Since your 2019 Ford Ranger has a separate turn signal from brake light signal the diode kit that would work the best is a tow bar lighting kit for separate turn signals like you mentioned like the Roadmaster part # 154-792-118158.

This will allow your brake lights and turn signals to function properly without requiring you to also use a brake light relay.
