Recommended Trailer Brake Controller and Wiring Harness For 2020 Thor Compass TE

I would like to install a brake controller on this motor home. It came with the factory 7 pin plug but no controller. Which brake controller can I used and where is the connector plug located? Thanks

Since your 2020 Thor Compass TE has the factory tow package there is quite a few trailer brake controller that will work.

Out of the available options I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 as it has been proven to be an extremely reliable controller making it a favorite amongst our customers. This is a proportional controller meaning the built in inertia sensor detects the intensity you apply the brakes in your Compass TE and sends the same braking intensity to your trailers brakes for smooth and efficient braking.

To install this controller in your motorhome you will need the Tekonsha # 3063-P. This will plug directly into the # 90195, and the into the green port underneath the driver seat of your motorhome as shown in the included diagram.
