Replacement Tire Compatibility For Discontinued 6.00-13 Trailer Tire Load Range C
Question:
Will this tire work to replace a 6.00-13 tire?
asked by: Josh R
Expert Reply:
Your 6.00-13 tires have a width of 6.5" and a diameter of 25.7"
The Loadstar ST175/80D13 # AM1ST77 is a bias ply tire with a width of 6.6" and a diameter of 24". It is a load range D with a weight capacity of 1,610lbs which is much higher than the 1,230lbs of your current tire.
I recommend the Westlake ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire # LHWL101 as the best replacement. It has a closer weight rating of 1,360lbs and the radial construction is better suited for highway use. It also has the best warranty available at 5 years and you receive 2 years of complimentary roadside assistance for the tires.
