Will Brophy Tiedown Part # HSSF Work With a Cabover Camper on a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500

I have a 2005 dodge ram 2500. I would like to use the BROPHY HDSF tiedowns. If I buy a cabover camper longer than 8foot What are my options for the rear.

We do offer Brophy tiedowns that will fit your 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 as long as it does not have a stepside bed or dual rear wheels. The Brophy tiedowns that will work for your application is part # HSSF.

By using these tiedown brackets, you will not have a need for further reinforcement. These universal brackets wrap around the bedrail rather than using the stake pockets and include both the front and rear brackets. I have attached the installation instructions for you.

If you need the hardware to attach the camper to the brackets, Brophy part # TDHP is the correct kit. The max weight for the hardware is 3000 pounds. I have also attached the installation instructions for this item as well.

According to Brophy the HDSF part number you originally referenced is not a valid part number in their system, but the Brophy tiedown part # HSSF that I mentioned will work well with your application.
