Will 2K Blue Ox Sway Pro Spring Bars Work With 1,100 Lb Tongue Weight

Question:

I have a 20,000# hitch with 2000# rated spring bars, this is blue ox sway pro. My truck is a HD 2500, 2020 diesel. The trailer is a grand design 315rlts, tongue weight of 1095 unloaded. Are the 2000# bars too much for this trailer. Do I need to purchase lighter rated spring bars? Thanks for any help.

Yes, in order for the system to work properly the spring bars need to be rated appropriately. The correct Replacement Spring Bars for Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution System for a 1,100 b tongue weight is part # BXW4008.
