The recommended air pressure for the Karrier 205/75R15 # AM32395 you were looking at is indeed 50 PSI.
Trailer tires are different then vehicle tires in the sense that they have a much thicker side wall, and using any less than the max air pressure causes the sidewall to collapse and build excess heat in the tire. Heat is the main enemy of a tire, and can lead to uneven tire wear, and even blow outs.
