What Style Connector Do I need on my Replacement Propane Pigtail Hose

Question:

Hi, The current pigtail is a Fairview Fittings I4TC16M14QC4. This connects the propane bottle to one side of the dual input regulator. The current pigtail seems to have a partial blockage as it works fine for low BTU loads such as the fridge but starves high BTU loads like the water heater. What would you recommend as a replacement pigtail? Attached is a picture of the label from the current pigtail. Thanks.

There are different options depending on what style connector you have. I have included an option for both an NPT and MIF. You would just want to check what style is on your hose to ensure you get the correct hose.

NPT
MB Sturgis Propane Hose w/ Back Check # 100473-20-MBS

MIF
MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail # 100575-20-MBS

Both of these hoses have internal back checks and will let you power all of your RV's appliances.

If you look at your regulator and and there are two brass adapters at the inlets then you have the MIF, if you do not have the brass adapters on your regulator then you have the NPT.
