Leaf Springs and U-Bolts for 2010 Keystone Cougar Travel Trailer

Question:

hello, I am in the beginning stages of replacing by stock rv suspension. *2010 keystone cougar TT 5, 550 lbs dry *Al-KO 4400 axles .3inch diam have measured spacing of spring weight unloaded from wheels and measures 25 1/4inch center eye to eye bolt head to bolt head. After some reading that maybe a trailer this old the springs may flatten a bit ? so the real length? I am considering going with a lippert road armor EQ and wet shackle kit, but really need to determine what my springs length are... so need recommendation for new springs, u-bolts, nuts etc and lippert parts to put on the new springs. any guidance and input very appreciated!

The best leaf spring option we have is the part # e28SR which has a 5,000 lb axle capacity and is 25-1/4 inches in length. Old springs do tend to stretch a bit over time but in your case this capacity matches what you are in need of and is a close enough length that it would work well.

Then for a u-bolt kit for a 3 inch diameter axle you'd need the part # CE23003 which comes with plates and nuts/washers.
