Replacement For 1,000 lb Pro Series Weight Distribution With no Replacement Bars Available
Question:
C17115. I was just curious if these bars would fit the pro series WDH. They look exactly the same and appear they have the same dimensions. I cant find any 1000 pound bars for the pro series. Please advise.

Expert Reply:
The Curt spring bars you mentioned won't fit a Pro Series weight distribution hitch as they are not designed to fit that head unit so they won't work. There are no longer Pro Series replacement bars available as they stopped making that version of hitch, so the only option available is a new system. Since you mentioned you had 1,000 lb spring bars you can use a similar Curt system:
- Curt MV Weight Distribution System - Round Bar - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW # C17052
This is the most economical option for a very similar system to your Pro Series and comes with everything needed for installation except for the hitch ball, which you can get with the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # C40030.
I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well if you'd like to take a look.
