How To Help Stop Bouncing While Towing With a 2020 Ford F-150

Question:

I have a 2020 F150, 3.5 Ecoboost, FX4, max towing package installed. I have upgraded my tires to Cooper AT3 XLT. I also use a Hensley Hitch to assist with sway and weight distribution. I am trying to minimize the bounce of the truck/trailer when going over bumps and dips in the road. I have been looking at this product, the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System Item # TFR1504E, or upgrading the rear shocks. Which direction would you recommend? I am towing a 2021 Surveyor Legend 203RKLE with about 600 pounds tongue weight.

The best option we can offer to help cut down on excessive bounce while towing is with the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs part # SSR-117-47. The SumoSprings will do a great job of helping to reduce road shock while towing or hauling. They provide support as they but due to the softer material, they have a smoother ride with less bouncing than say the comparable Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TFR1504E.
