Can I use my own wheel skewers on the fork chop?

I went ahead and confirmed with my contact at Yakima you will be able to use your own skewers on the Yakima Fork Chop Y02117 as long as they fit the skewer holes. The Yakima Fork Chop is compatible with 9 mm x 100 mm, 12 mm x 100 mm, 15 mm x 100 mm, and 15 mm x 110 mm, 15 mm x 135 mm, 15 mm x 142 mm, and 15 mm x 150 mm.
However, if you are planning to use the Yakima Same-Key System locks # Y07202, you will only be able to use those in Yakima skewers.
