Will Firestone F2710 Ride-Rite Air Helper Spring System for 2019 Ram 3500 Work With In-Bed Hitch

Which 7500 air bags will fit best on 2019 Ram 3500 4x4 Mega cab 6 1/2 ft bed with an etrailer C16430-204 bed rails and brackets installed? We pull a 5th wheel 3600# hitch wt and haul 1.5 ton material occasionally. Thank you

According to Firestone, their Red Label Ride-Rite Extreme Duty # F2710 air helper springs would be compatible with an in-bed installed 5th wheel or gooseneck hitch on your 2019 Ram 3500 short bed. The springs provide up to 7500 lbs of support, but wouldn't increase the weight carrying capacity of your truck.

You might also be interested in an on-board compressor system like # F2219 for a dual path system that would allow you to control either air helper spring individually to compensate for off-balance loads or a single path system like # F2097 which would inflate both bags simultaneously. Either system would allow you to add or purge pressure from the system with the control panel mounted in the truck cab.
