Folding Platform Bike Rack that Can Fold Up Installed on 2011 Honda Odyssey
Question:
I am looking at the Thule T2 Pro XTR for our 2011 Honda Odyssey. I measure our 2” receiver pin to closest bumper contact at 5.5” and see the Thule has a folded dimension of 5” implying interference. Can you tell how high above the center of the receiver the closest point would be? If it is the wheel cups I wonder if they would sit above my bumper where we have better clearance as the tailgate clearly sits inside of the bumper. I know there are extenders I.e. the kuat high low adapter but am not sure I want to go that route unless I really have to.

We have a great folding bike rack that is similar to the Thule T2 XTR # TH83JV that does have the folding clearance needed but this rack would be right at 1/2 inch too short to do so.
Instead we have the Kuat NV 2.0 Base part # BA22B which is very similar and has a folding clearance of 6-5/8 inches instead so it would easily work well for you. Many refer to this rack as being the nicest platform bike rack out there so we know you'd be extremely happy with it.
