Thule DoubleTrack Pro XT Bike Rack for 2 Bikes Spare Tire Clearance

Will this Thule rack clear the spare tire I have on the back of my van?

The Thule DoubleTrack Pro XT Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount Item # TH92BJ has approximately 6" of clearance between the hitch pin hole and inner bike. If your tire sticks out past that then this rack will not work for your vehicle. You could add a hitch extender but that would reduce the weight capacity of the bike rack by 50%. I did speak with a Thule tech and he stated they have a hitch extender that will be coming out in the next few months that will not reduce the weight capacity.
