Correct Conversion Kit for Dometic Awning with Burnt Up Motor
Question:
I have a burnt out motor in my dometic awning . They are very expensive to replace . Can I keep the arms and convert it to a different style motor that is cheaper ? Ie solvers?

I do have an option for you but motor awning motors are specific to the arms so in order to switch to a different motor which may be the only option if the unit is old enough you'll also need new arms. The best option we can offer would be a conversion kit, the Solera 12V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit part # LC434724 for white or part # LC434723 for black. These kits will allow you to use your old roller tube and fabric.
