Troubleshooting Husky Centerline TS Weight Distribution Hitch Causing Tow Vehicle To Pull Right
Question:
Have a husky centerline ts with 6k rating. Makes a lot of noise firstly when turning ,i use lithium grease on the lbrackets and in the trunnion but pops and creaks like crazy. Second when going down the road the tow vehicle pathfinder pulls hard to the right most of the time when attached to the trailer. I reset the unit a few times , greased it well but still pulls to right that i have to move the wheel to the left and hold it. I think something is binding. Anyone else have this problem? I am considering changing the wdh to another brand with spring bars.

Since your Husky Centerline TS has friction sway control, it is pretty normal for it to make noise when turning, as you are hearing the spring bars rubbing against the L-pin which is keeping the trailer from swaying.
In regards to your Pathfinder pulling to the right when towing, I would start with having the front end of your vehicle thoroughly checked out as towing a trailer adds extra stress to the vehicle, and could be what is causing you to feel an issue that you do not normal feel.
If the front end all checks out then I recommend measuring from the center of the coupler on your trailer to each mounting bracket on your trailer and making sure you get the same measurement. If you do not then the weight distribution hitch will pull the trailer un-even, and you will need to make each bracket the same distance back.
Lastly if all else fails I recommend taking the entire system apart, and inspecting the sockets where the spring bars install into the head for any corrosion or debris, and give the entire system a thorough inspection. Clean all moving parts and then add a liberal amount of grease.
Let me know what you find and I would be happy to help troubleshoot further.
