How Secure Is the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes

Question:

I have a strep through electric bike with fenders Trek allant+7 lowstep and was looking for a bike rack. The reviews have scared me as many people complain of bike falling off rack, things breaking , poor hitch security etc on the tulle easy fold . Are these common problems? I saw even on the Thule site it only has 3 stars compared to the t2 pro who also has a lot of negative reviews. For this much money I just want my bike to be safe - honest opinion?

I personally have not heard of any bike security issues with the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes part # TH903202. I do however want to note that the maximum bike tube the clamps on the rack will work with is 3-1/8" but so long so long as you are within range there should be no concerns. The clamps will click when they are tight so there is no guesswork.

The hitch tightening mechanism is not a new design either, it's used on several other of their racks and makes it very easy to setup. In summary, the only feedback I can go off of is what we have heard from our customers and it has been a unanimous five star product for us.
