Can Different Propane Line Be Used With Firman 3300-Watt Portable RV Generator FIR54FR?

Question:

I will be using my extender propane line in the back of my RV. So I already have a regulator on the tank end of the line. What is the large blue apparatus connected to the regulator for and why does it need power ? Second question is will this be compatible with my 30. amp Hughs DOg bone Surge protector?.

I reached out to my contact at Firman and to use the Firman 3,300-Watt Portable RV Dual Fuel Inverter Generator - Propane or Gas - Electric Start # FIR54FR you were looking at with propane you will need to use the included hose with regulator. The reason for this is it was specifically designed for this generator and has a built in solenoid which is what the power wire in question is for.

In regards to the your 30 amp surge protector, that will be perfectly compatible with the # FIR54FR.

I included a video review of the # FIR54FR for you to take a look at.
