Determining Which Brake Assemblies Fit 3000lb Dexter Axle With 8-247 Hub and Drum Assembly
Question:
I am not locating the right part and need help. Here are the specs Dexter Axle P-11, Model SLR, 3000 max capacity Dexter Drum 8-247, 5 bolt pattern I am not sure what brake kit I need for replacement. Drums and bearing are fine, Can you give me shoes as well as the full base plate and shoe kit. Thank you

The Dexter Hub and Drum assembly 8-247 you have on your Dexter P-11 3000lb axle use 10" x 2-1/4" brake assemblies.
The correct replacement assemblies for your hubs is the Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 3,000 lbs # K23-472-473-00. If your mounting hardware is still in good shape you can reuse it, or it can be replaced using # BRKH10B.
For replacement shoes you can use # AKBRKR-S-10.
