Do the Wheelbase Knobs on the Curt 4 Bike Rack Lock?
Question:
are the knobs that adjust for wheelbase locked with keys or can you loosen them and take it of the bar that they go in and remove the whole assembly?

Expert Reply:
The adjustable wheelbase cradles on the Curt 4 Bike Platform Rack - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting # C18087 do not have an option to add a lockable knob. The are able to remove the whole assembly. However, if you are concerned about security, I recommend attaching a Saris Cable Lock - 8' Long # SA981. With the cable lock, you can loop the cable through the cradles and attach them to the rest of the rack to deter theft. The cable lock can also add more security to your bikes.
