Replacement Bolt on Hubs for Car Hauler

Question:

I have an older Car hauler that used these tow dolly style bolt on Hubs. it originally had 4 , and now it has 2, and one has a broken hub, The passenger side. My assembly is very similar to this RM 2000-32... My 4 bolt holes are spaced slightly smaller at 2 5/8inch c to c. Also My original spindle assembly was Cast not welded like RMs.. I would love to find 4 of my original hub assemblys and can send detailed photos to match if needed... Also, the Lugs on the hub are the larger 5 x 5.5 style and the Drivers side has Left hand Lugs.... If need be, I can go to the 5 x 4.5 size and Right hand threaded lugs on the drivers side. I also have no need for Brake assemblys on these replacement hubs... Thanks in advance

I may be able to piece together a solution for you on this, but as far as replacing your original hubs like for like you would need to know the dimensions of the spindle to determine if there is a replacement hub that works on those. You could use the Roadmaster Replacement Spindle Weldment for Roadmaster Tow Dollies # RM-2000-32 as replacement spindles on the trailer and then use the # RM-2000-16 (drivers side) and # RM-2000-17 (passenger side) to replace the hubs.

The downside to this would be that you'd likely need to replace the wheels since these hubs have a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern; there are the Spare Tire and Wheel for Roadmaster Tow Dolly - ST205/75R14 Radial # RM-200330-80 available as a package that will fit on the hubs for the tow dolly. I've also linked our entire selection of 14" wheel and 205/75r14 tire combos in case you wanted a little more pocketbook friendly wheel and tire.

I've also linked a helpful article that we did that shows how to measure a spindle and determine what replacement bearings will fit that you can use as a guide when measuring your old spindle.
