From what I was able to determine through my research the 2006 Chevy Silverado with a 6'-6" bed uses the Extang Fulltilt 38940, so the correct replacement tarp for that cover is the Replacement Tarp for Extang FullTilt SL Soft Tonneau Cover - Snapless J-Strip # EX37940. This is a snapless cover that connects to the rails with a J-strip.

If you've got an older model that has snaps you will need the serial number off the rails of the tonneau to determine the correct replacement tarp.
