Trailer Dolly Recommendation For an Airstream Bambi 16
Question:
Hi, We just purchased a Tow Tuff Dolly 1000 that came with a 2” ball. We are looking for a 2 5/16 “ ball but the Tow Tuff is not American made and is Metric, we are having a hard time trying to find a 2 5/16” metric sized thread so that we can use it to maneuver our Bambi. Can we use the 2” ball or should we return the Dolly? Thanks!

I cannot suggest using the 2" ball to try and maneuver your Airstream Bambi with the 2-5/16" coupler. The coupler can easily separate itself from the smaller ball. For that I would return the dolly as we do not have a 2-5/16" ball that uses a metric thread.
I recommend looking at the Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly # TVXL25. It is rated for moving trailers up to 10,000lbs with up to 1,000lbs of tongue weight. With this dolly you will be able to move your Airstream much easier with either the hand crank or power drill adapter that is included. It includes a 2-5/16" ball but you can also get a 2" ball # TVHB2 for any smaller trailers that you may also have.
