Recommended Tire Storage Covers for 185R14 Tires
Question:
totally baffled by tire charts online to figure tire cover sizes. My on-the-ground tires show 185R14 8PRL7 on sidewalls. What size tire covers should I order?

A 185R14 tire measures about 25-3/4 inches in diameter, so the Classic Accessories # CA80098 tire storage covers you'd looked at would be too small. For the same style in the correct size, I'd go with # CA80083 which fits tires that are between 24-27 inches in diameter, up to 8-1/2 inches wide so they'll fit perfectly. The covers are sold in pairs, so if you have a tandem axle trailer, you'll need two sets.
