Best 3 to 2 Trailer Hitch Receiver Reducer For Ford F-350 3 Receiver
Question:
I would like to replace the OEM two piece Ford reducer with a single reducer that does not slide back-and-forth every time I try to install a hitch in the receiver. Does such a product exist?

Expert Reply:
The Buyers Products 3" to 2" Receiver Tube Adapter # 337RTA302 is reducer that I recommend using. It allows you to use a hitch pin to lock it in place inside your 3" receiver and then slide in your 2" ball mount or hitch mounted accessory. You will extend your hitch by 3-7/8" with this adapter. It is rated for a maximum tongue weight of 1,200lbs and a maximum trailer rating of 12,000lbs.
A Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # 63259 is recommended if you wish to leave the reducer in your receiver.
