Troubleshooting Replacement Fan-Tastic Vent Remote FV9068-81 Not Pairing To Fan

Manual and Auto do not flash immediately. No flash at all. What does that mean???

First things first I recommend removing the back cover of the Replacement Remote for Fantastic Roof Vent With 12v Fan # FV9068-81 to make sure the plastic around the batteries has been removed allowing the remote to work properly.
If you have already done this you will then I recommend removing the batteries from the remote for 2 minutes or so to reset it and then reattempt the pair process.
You will need to have the the remote within 12" of the fan and press the two arrows, once you do that the manual and auto should flash. Keep holding down the arrows until all 7 LEDs flash. This can take around 45 seconds. Once all the LEDs have flashed the remote is paired.
