Distance from RV Wall to Bolt Holes of Dometic 320 Full Timer Toilet

Question:

The space requirement for a Dometic 320 says I need 11inch from the floor bolts to the wall. My RV measures 10 1/4. In a normal install, how much space is there from the back of the toilet to the wall? Can I cut some of the plastic to get some extra room? I may need to cut the plastic breaker cover off completely as I want to install a Transolid TE400 bidet. Thanks.

11 inches from the bolt hole centers to the wall of the RV is the standard dimension for installing a 2 bolt toilet like the Dometic part # DOM87FR. You might check again and see if you didn't measure from the bolt centers and instead did from the bolt edge. There probably would 3/4 of an inch you could remove from the rear of the toilet but hopefully you wouldn't have to.
