Replacement Gas/Electric Water Heater

Question:

Hello, I currently have Atwood Water heater GC6AA-9E and it is gas and electric. I want to just buy a new one of the same thing. Im being told Atwood doesnt make them anymore and to go with Dometic. I dont know if thats true or not. How do I get a new Atwood Water heater GC6AA-9E? Or what is the replacement for it? I need make and model and price

That is correct that Atwood water heaters are no longer made as they were purchased by Dometic who stopped production of the old Atwood models. We do carry the Dometic RV Water Heater, # DMC74FR that is an gas and electric water heater. This has an automatic pilot, is 120V with a 6 gallon tank. The cutout dimensions are 12-3/4" tall x 12-3/4" wide x 19-7/8" deep.
