How do you know if the seal on the hub is functional and not leaking, relative to regreasing Bearing Buddy

If there is any grease outside the hub or if there is water inside the hub then that would indicate that the seal on the Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors like part # BB2441 is compromised and would need to be replaced. That said, I have not heard of many instances where the seal failed so this is really not an issue to worry about. There is a relief valve built-in so overfilling won't damage the seal on the Bearing Buddy.
