Using Demco Air Force One on 2014 Toyota 4Runner with Electric Brakes
Question:
Im interested in the Demco Air Force One for a second vehicle. My 4Runner uses an electric motor to assist braking. My question is regarding the install. Does my vehicle need the battery connected or disconnected to work with the Demco? I called Demco and Ben told me if the battery has to stay connected when flat towing to just plug the vacuum port on the controller. If the battery is disconnected to plug both the vacuum and exhaust ports. Id like to know how to install before purchasing. Thank You,

I looked up the owners manual of your 2014 Toyota 4Runner online and there's no mention of having to disconnect the battery to flat tow it so you'd want to plug the vacuum port on the controller like Demco told you to.
