Recommended Replacement For Precimex 7000 Regulator

Question:

Recommended replacement for Precimex Model 7000 ? 15 psi regulator. This regulator on the auxiliary line for external grill, etc.? on a 2010 Roadtrek 190 RV was leaking out of a small vent? hole on the inlet side. See photo, where pen is pointed. Does an auxiliary line normally require what appears to be a high-pressure regulator? And does the orientation matter? The regulator was mounted so that the inlet, outlet, and vent hole? were horizontal. Thanks.

Thank you for the photo and information, and we do have a recommended replacement for your Precimax 7000 regulator. A high-pressure regulator is often needed for a grill, and in regards to being vertical or horizontal, that orientation does not matter. So to replace your regulator what you will need is one from MB Sturgis:

- MB Sturgis Single Stage Propane Regulator # 108072

This is a high-pressure regulator with the same 1/4" female NPT fittings as your Precimax 7000, and I verified with MB Sturgis that you can use this regulator as a replacement for yours.
