What line goes on top and what one one bottom for trans cooler on an 05 jeep grand Cherokee 3.7 v-6

With the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler # D13503 for your 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee it does not matter which line goes on top or bottom. There is not an inlet or outlet side on the cooler as it is simply a pass through cooler. And it can be mounted vertically or horizontal.
Going with conventional wisdom of heat rising it suggests that the best way to run is for the hotter side coming from your radiator will go into the higher of the tow ends and the cooler end will run from the bottom back to the transmission.
