Weight Distribution Shank For 2-1/2 Inch Hitch With 6 Inch Drop
Question:
Do you sell a 6 inch drop 2-1/2 inch receiver hitch shank for a equalizer E2 rated for 10,000 lbs?

Helpful Expert Reply:
There is a weight distribution shank that can give you 6 inches of drop and fits a 2-1/2 inch hitch. Weight distribution shanks are designed in a way that allows you to use a shank from a different manufacturer than the hitch itself, so what you can use is a shank from Curt:
- Curt Weight Distribution Shank for 2-1/2" Hitches # C17132
This is compatible with your Equal-i-zer weight distribution hitch, has a maximum drop of 9-1/4 inches, and is rated for up to 15,000 lbs so it is more than enough for your 10,000 lb system.
