Connecting Nexgrill Fortress to RV
Question:
I read a similar post about connecting my Nexgrill Fortress BBQ to a quick connect, but in my case it’s to an RV under mounted tank not a 20 lbs tank. The LP at my RV’s quick connect is already regulated. I confirmed this by inspection but as a test, I also tried connecting my hose directly to the Nexgrill control knob/regulator combo which brought no gas at all. I likely need to replace the bbq’s regular and nozzle Venturi assembly with new nozzle and fittings plus a new control knob. I also want a quick connect to the hose at the bbq end. I’ve seen this done on a WeberQ so there must be similar kits/solutions for Nexgrill. Any suggestions? Thanks.

This is not something we have available in a kitted package. If you have a pressure regulated propane source available from your RV, then you probably will not want to run the LP through a second regulator on your grill, this will most likely cause your end use pressure to be too low. While there are exceptions, most grills require high pressure to operate. Please note the attached help articles for more information.
It appears your Nexgrill Fortress Table Top Grill comes with a Type 1 fitting, I suggest the MB Sturgis Quick Disconnect Propane Hose # 100476-120-MBS along with the MB Sturgis Adapter Fitting # 204132-MBS to connect to the Type 1 fitting on the grill.
