Routing Air Line of Air Lift AL60818 on Truck Without Hole on Bracket

Question:

I installed the air springs60818 on my 2013 Ram 1500 STD and ran the airline through the top of the coil spring. When I filled the system with air, both top air springs were apparently crimped causing no air to inflate the springs. There was no hole in the top of coil spring support bracket to run it straight up through the bracket! Do I need to drill a hole in the support to run the supply line straight up, so the line doesnt kink? I followed the directions and watched numerous install videos and nothing says to drill? It looks like I have to drill through the support bracket and run the airline straight down to the air springs? If no drilling is required, where is the best route/placement to run the supply line through the coil spring without causing it to kink?

When we installed the Air Lift 1000 part # AL60818 we didn't have to drill a hole to route the air line. That said if for some reason there isn't a hole to pass the line through you certainly could drill the mount so that a line could pass through it. There really isn't a better place to route it so that would be our best option.
