Where are the Holes Drilled in Truck Bed for Installation of Reese Elite 5th Wheel Rails
Question:
Im installing a reese under bed rail system in my 2006 gmc Sierra 2500 hd 6 ft 6in box. I would like to know , where in the factory holes in the frame do I tighten the brackets . The hole allows movement front to back . Or is there any measurement specs for where to drill holes in the box for the pucks ?

To determine where the holes will need to be drilled in the bed of your 2006 GMC Sierra you will get the cross members mounted and then run the pointed bolt through the bottom of the crossmember till it makes contact with the bottom of the truck bed and then it will make a dimple in the truck bed that will be the guide for drilling the holes for the pucks.
As to where are the holes in the frame to tighten the brackets too, check out the picture I attached that I took from the installation instructions that show where the holes are.
I also attached an installation video for this rail kit also. This should help clear up any other questions you might have also.
