Correct 20K Reese Sidewinder for Lippert 1716 Pin Box
Question:
I wish to upgrade to these items for my 2017 f350 super duty short box with factory installed underbed kit. I would like to install a 20k Reese sidewinder, removing the lippert 1716 pinbox on my Outdoors RV trailer. I also would like to upgrade my Reese 16k hitch to the new Reese M5 20k fifth wheel. Could you please tell me what models and part numbers are required for the upgrade?

The correct Reese Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin for a Lippert 1716 pin box in 20K is part # RP34FR but you'll also need the Spacer Kit part # RP97FR.
The Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ford Towing Prep Package part # RP30921 will then be correct for a 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty with OEM Prep Pkg. You will also need the Sidewinder Wedge Kit for 20,000-lb Reese ELITE, M-Series, or ProSeries Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitches part # RP44FR but that's it.
