Which 5th Wheel Brackets Work With Air Lift Loadlifter 5000 AL88288 On 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500?

Question:

I have these airlift bags on a 2019 Chevy 1500. What 5th wheel mount works with this so it doesnt interfere with the ubolts on the bag?

There is another way to install the Air Lift Loadlifter 5000 Air Helper Springs on your 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with the 6-1/2' bed, but there is not a 5th wheel mounting bracket that allows you to use the U-bolts around the frame. This is due to all of the 5th wheel mounting brackets available for your truck go along the frame rail.

What you will need to do is drill two holes on the bottom of the frame and use the included hardware to bolt the upper mounting brackets to the bottom of the frame of your truck. This will allow it to fit and work with 5th wheel mounting brackets.

Now if you do not already have 5th wheel mounting brackets or rails I recommend the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWRVK2504 which use existing holes in the frame of your truck to minimize drilling and make the installation process more straight forward.

Since your truck has a bed under 8' it is recommend to going with a sliding 5th wheel hitch to make sure you have adequate cab to trailer clearance, or use a fixed hitch with a rotating pin box.

If your trailer does not have a rotating pin box I recommend the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Dual Jaw - 18,000 lbs # BWRVK3270 which is a high quality made in the USA hitch which gives you 12" of extra travel so you have additional clearance when making sharp turns.

If your trailer DOES have a rotating pin box then you will want to use a fixed hitch. I recommend the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 16,000 lbs # BWRVK3200 and the 5th Airborne Custom Wedge for B&W Fifth Wheels # SWW-06.

I included videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
