Recommended Replacement for Duralast 900 Battery Charger and Jump Starter
Question:
Ive had my Duralast 900 Battery Charger for a couple of yrs now. Its starting to act flakey. It blinks and sounds off like every hour. I leave it on charge for days and it doesnt seems to do any good. I thought it the charging cord so I bought another one. It stayed quiet until I tried using it on a job. Now it does the same thing. At my wits end

Occasionally like any battery that's been re-charged consistently over the years it will start to loose some of it's ability to hold a charge; it's possible that your old Duralast 900 just ran out of life. It might be worth considering replacing it with a new one like the Duracell Portable Emergency Jump Starter with Tire Inflator - 12V - 900 Amp # DU37FR which comes with all of the same features as your old Duralast 900 plus a tire inflator. It's a handy little tool with a variety of uses that would serve as a good replacement for your old one.
