Your 2006 Skyline Nomad 247 travel trailer would have come from the factory with a 205/75-14" tire in load range C.

As a replacement I would recommend the Castle Rock ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire # LHCK201. It is the same size tire with a radial construction that is well suited for highway travel.

The 235/70-16 size that you gave is only found as passenger vehicle tires currently and I would not recommend using them on a trailer. They are not designed for the weight and stress that happen to trailer tires.

If you do want to go with larger wheels and tires you will need to remember that by doing this you will need to ensure that you have enough clearance for the larger tires. You need 1" on the sides of the tire and 3" minimum vertically for suspension travel and 2" between the tires. An Axle Flip Kit # K71-385-00 or other trailer lift may be required. Depending on the lift you may need to install new stabilizers and steps that will account for the additional lift.
