Can I Use a Demco SBSS Stay-IN-Play DUO On a Jeep Flat Towed by Class A Diesel with Air Brakes

Question:

Hi, Long time customer and Ive had this system on my 2016 Jeep Wrangler since 2019. I tow it behind a Winnebago Gas Class A Motor Home. Im purchasing a new Diesel Class A Motor Home and I assume there is nothing I have to do since this works with the MH brake signal and inertia, even though the new motor home has air brakes. Thanks,

I have a solution for you, but in spite of what it might seem, the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251 is not compatible with Class A RVs with air brakes. For this reason you would need to switch your supplemental braking system but the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System w/ Wireless Coachlink - Air Brakes - Proportional # DM26VR is compatible with air brakes and would give you a similar setup to your Stay-In-Play DUO system. The Air Force One system comes with the Wireless Coachlink to show you that the braking system is operating properly in the tow vehicle and you won't need any extensive setup when it's time to get on the road as this is permanently mounted.

I've linked some review and installation videos of this system for you to check out, as well.
