Would Bike Cradles of Thule Passage Bike Rack Remove for Easier Loading

Question:

Can the outer frame cradles be removed when loading one bike to make it easier to place the bike on the innermost frame cradles

The frame cradles of the Thule Passage bike rack part # TH910XT are removable for if they were to ever need to be replaced but they aren't quite easy enough to remove that you'd want to pull them off to make bike loading/unloading easier. That would be more of a hassle than anything. There also isn't a rack out there that would have a much easier to remove cradle design.

For harder to load bikes a bike frame adapter part # UB01 would be a great way to make it a little easier as this attaches to the steering stem and seat post to give the rack a more level attachment point.
