Will SumoSprings SSR-207-47 Allow More Suspension Sag Than SSR-203-40-2 On 2016 GMC Sierra 2500?

Question:

The air bags I have do not have jounce bumpers in them and I can only put in about 24psi and even then my trailer is not quite level. They do bottom out with a solid bump with all the air out. I think there would be about an inch from touching the stock bumper if the airbags were removed and the bumper replaced. The truck may sag more with the bags removed so I was wondering what your thoughts are on installing SSR-207-47. I thought I saw info for 60 day satisfaction on your website. I think the rebel springs might be too much. I even read a review where someone trimed them. Maybe if I needed more sag I could trim an inch off. I would like to get rid of the air bags. In my opinion, this may be what I need to tow my 5th wheel level but would like your opinion. Thanks for any info you can provide.

If you are worried about the SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs - 2 Piece - Rear Axle # SSR-203-40-2 giving too much support to the rear suspension of your 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 then the # SSR-207-47 would be a great choice.

The # SSR-207-47 gives 1500lbs of load leveling support so it would sag a little more than the rebel's so it sounds like they would be exactly what you are wanting.

We do have a 60 day return policy, but that only covers new unused items so you would not be able to return the springs after installing.

I do not recommend trimming the # SSR-203-40-2 as that will change the way they work, and will void the warranty of the springs.

I included a video of the # SSR-207-47 for you to take a look at.
