Advent Air AC Unit that Can Install In Place of Dometic

Question:

The Duo Therm AC just went out on my 1976 Jayco. I was told that Advent had units that would replace it without having to have new interior parts. My model is 54612-036. The instruction manual says it needs a 14 x 14 opening. Please advise .

Advent Air does offer a replacement AC unit for the Dometic setups you have with the part # ACDOM135 which will plug right in to the current wiring you have now for an easy install.
