Should Inside and Outside Stereo Speakers be Controllable Separately with Drive RV Stereo

Question:

Hi Chris 1 1/2 year ago we had a DVD1000 radio system installed as a replacement under warranty a diffrent one than the one we boucht with the coach. Of course it was done last fall. The problem that we have now is with the speakers: we either have sound inside the RV or outside the RV. We also have the choice to shut it off but we would like to choose in or out. How can we do that? We do not have a user manuel. We tried to contact the company but they are asking for the invoice to replace it. No other choice than replacing ??? , On the web we found some user manuels DVD that look like ours but not the same. 1 Can you tell us how to have a user manuel? 2 How can we change the setting to have the sound only in or only out? Thank you

Your stereo should have been wired in so that the inside speakers are one zone and the outside are a different zone which you can select on the buttons on the front of it to allow for separate control. If those adjustments can't be made then the issue is that the stereo was wired in improperly and you'd need to figure out how the speaker wires were ran and make sure the inside speakers are on a different zone than the outside ones.
