Will Trailer Ride Suffer From Using Taller Equalizers
Question:
just installed the ap-233 suspension kit on 1990 dico double axle, noticed that my equalizer kit came w a triangle version and the one that was removed was straight , of course i found this out after the fact. besides raising the trailer an inch will i have any negative affects from this ??

Helpful Expert Reply:
Since the equalizer height changed by an inch, in order for your suspension to function as designed, you'll need to add 1 inch taller spring hangers to make up for the height difference. Failure to even out that height difference can result in poor ride quality, trailer sway and uneven tire wear.
