Can the LED Light Kit Item # 98174LED be installed on this carrier? If so, what additional items are required mounting brackets, grommets, etc.? If this particular item cannot be installed, do you offer any alternative light kits that would fit?

Yes, you can add a custom light kit to 24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Tilting - Folding - 500 lbs # e98874 with etrailer License Plate and LED Tail Light Mounting Kit for Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier # e98943-44LED. This kit also includes a license plate mount so you won't have to worry about purchasing anything else.
